New to Yoga? 

Welcome! We're glad you found us and we look forward to helping you begin. All of our classes are open to Yoga students of all levels, including beginners. Many new students find that our Gentle Yoga classes are the best fit for beginning students who wish to attend classes as a drop in students. We highly recommend that new students attend Yoga Basics, beginning yoga series. This 5 week series, led by Satya Yoga owner and director Teresa Van Eyk E-RYT, teaches the foundations of Yoga practice and is suitable for any student looking to: 

  •  Explore how Yoga works on a physical, mental and emotional level

  •  Learn breathing techniques for relaxation and balancing the systems of the body   

  •  Learn safe alignment and modifications in classical Yoga asana (poses) and sun salutations

  •  Create healthier habits and find support among like minded community

  •  Practice in an welcoming and nurturing environment, where ALL are welcome to experience the JOYS of Yoga.

 Sept 27 - Nov 8 (no class Oct 4)

$55 registration before Sept 20 - $60 after Sept 20
